You can contact your email provider or IT department, Google part of the email to see if it is a known spam email, or install a spam filter tool. If you fear the worst has happened and you clicked a malicious link in an email, the 1st thing you should do is disconnect from the internet and run a virus scan. Once your computer is secure, change any passwords that you were logged into, prioritizing banking, email, and social media. Always go directly to those websites to update passwords. For maximum security, update these passwords using a different device. You can then report the email to your email provider or IT department.

We have seen an increase in spam emails lately.
