1) Review your products and services<\/h2>\n

Take a look at the list of your products\/services that are listed on your website. \u00a0Are there items that you no longer offer? \u00a0Are there new products and services you offer that haven\u2019t been added yet? \u00a0If it\u2019s not on your website, potential customers & clients may assume that you don\u2019t offer it, don\u2019t leave them guessing!<\/p>\n

2) Update Photos<\/h2>\n

Spring Cleaning is a great time to set aside an hour to go through your phone or camera, pick out the best photos you\u2019ve accumulated recently of projects to update your website. \u00a0We find that one of the things that businesses struggle most with is coming up with new high quality photos on a consistent basis. \u00a0With a smartphone at your fingertips there shouldn\u2019t be any excuses why you can\u2019t snap photos as you work on projects. \u00a0Schedule it into your routine just like anything else. \u00a0When you\u2019re done a client\u2019s project, allot just 5 minutes to snap a few photos of your work. \u00a0It\u2019s enough time to allow you to take pictures, without becoming a big project. \u00a0The photos can then be emailed directly to your website designer, or you can update them yourself. \u00a0Taking the time to make this a habit keeps your website fresh and peaks your customer\u2019s interest.<\/p>\n

3) Update Dates<\/h2>\n

Many companies often overlook updating text (often for years at a time), leaving their \u201cyears in business\u201d and \u201cyears of experience\u201d outdated by 5 or even 10 years! \u00a0Take a look through your website to ensure all of your dates are \u201cup to date\u201d!<\/p>\n

4) Check Social Icons<\/h2>\n

Have you recently joined Instagram? Maybe you decided to showcase your products on pinterest. \u00a0Now is a great time to check to make sure you have icons for all of the social networks that you are a part of prominently displayed. \u00a0Are all of the links correct? \u00a0Check to make sure the link you\u2019re using is the correct one. Changing your facebook page name, or giving your facebook page a username can change your display link so make sure each link is consistent across the board.<\/p>\n
