When was the last time that you visited your own website? If your website is not something you use yourself, it might not be compelling enough to bring visitors back. So, how can you improve your website?
If you can’t commit to monthly, weekly, or daily updates, then quarterly changes are a great place to start. Mark your calendar for August, November, February, and May.
August 1st for Fall/Autumn – September, October, November
November 1st for Winter – December, January, February
February 1st for Spring – March, April, May
May 1st for Summer – June, July, August
You can get started by posting this week, before the end of August, and then and set up a recurring event in your calendar to remind you on the above days annually to visit your website to review it. Take a look at it with fresh eyes, ask your employees, family, and friends to point out any services or products that you provide that are missing. Read through your about section to see if it needs to be updated. Pick out newer photos to add throughout the website, whether that’s of projects that you completed or new photos of your location.
Previous, current, and future customers love to see a website that is intriguing and updated. The bonus is that search engines love it too! When you build an authentic, customer-first website, search engines are bound to take note and reward you accordingly.
At WebLeaps, we provide quarterly marketing services for this exact purpose. We help businesses keep their website up to date, relevant, and engaging for their customers. So, if you need assistance, we would love for you to reach out to start by setting up an August meeting to plan out website updates and marketing for Fall 2026.
