Your website is THE MOST IMPORTANT piece of your business online presence. Many businesses have a website, but some rely mainly on social media as the method of choice to provide information to their clients. Social media is a great tool, but it needs to be used as a bonus in addition to your website.
Social media should be used as a cost-effective way to advertise your business and to make new connections that you may not have made otherwise. It should never be used as the main (or a large) source of your business content online as features can be changed/removed causing your information to appear less frequently, companies can be sold, and at any time that flow of traffic from social media can disappear. Treat your website as the main course and social media as side dishes. They work great together, but if you are missing a side dish, your meal isn’t ruined.
With your website as the centerpiece of your business presence online, it is important to make sure that information and pictures are added/updated and your products/services are kept up to date.
The other important part to keep in mind is that you need ownership of your website. With WebLeaps, you have complete control over your website and the content on your website.
